WEBINAR: The Eating Disordered Brain
This Webinar is Over
There has been a sudden and dramatic rise in dangerously out-of-control and disordered eating in men and women in the U.S. and around the globe. While no longer the controversial diagnosis relegated to the back rooms of the rich and famous or the errant childhood super-athlete, eating disorders now effect an estimated 20 million women and 10 million men in the U.S. alone and from nearly every walk of life, ethnicity, religion, and age. Whether the issue is Anorexia, Bulimia, Bulimarexia, Binge-Eating, Avoidant/Restrictive Intake or Rumination Disorder, make no mistake, eating disorders can and do kill a significant portion of those that have it, whether directly or indirectly and in a multiple of unsavory ways. But is this a disorder, a disease, or an addiction? It is actually a set of symptoms that are part and parcel of a bigger more encompassing mental illness, or is it a 'stand-alone' illness, and if so, does it co-occur regularly with other mental illnesses and if so, what are they? How are eating disorders actually acquired, diagnosed, and perhaps more importantly, what is the best type of treatment and what if anything, is the success rate?
Please join Dr Ullman for an exciting, entertaining, and educational multimedia, 90-minute live webinar wherein yo will learn all about these issues from one of the foremost Cognitive-Behavioral experts in the field of Complex Trauma (C-PTSD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Addiction. You will learn why the success rate for eating disorders has historically been inexcusably low, and what the specific, neuroscience and behavior-based methods used by Dr Ullman is, and why it has achieved the significant success rates it has.
Everyone who signs up for this webinar will be sent a free webinar replay, just in case you were unable to attend the live event.

WEBINAR: The Trauma-Bonded Relationship
This Webinar is Over
For such a remarkably destructive and wide-ranging problem, it remains a mystery why the vast majority of individuals, let alone the plethora of couples currently or previously in treatment for their relationship issues have never even heard of a trauma-bonded relationship, even if they happen to be in one.
A trauma-bond refers to the repetitive albeit unconscious need for each individual within an intimate partnership to trigger one another by creating and then maintaining chaos within the relationship itself. When this occurs, the relationship can never grow, will tend to burn itself out, and leaves each person exhausted, resentful, miserable, and mentally unstable. So why do couples do this? The answer lies within the neurology of the individual and the traumatic backdrop the individual grew up in. Trauma-bonded relationships are never one-sided. They are a perfect match forged within the depths of psychological chaos, turmoil, uncertainty, and fear. The good news is that each individual and then the relationship itself can heal and grow.
Please join Dr Ullman for an exciting, entertaining, and educational 90-minute multimedia live webinar wherein you will learn about this highly problematic yet fairly common developmentally and trauma-based issue from one of the foremost Cognitive-Behavioral and neuroscience-based experts in the field of Complex Trauma (C-PTSD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Addiction. You will learn why the success rate, much less the very recognition of the problem has been and continues to be inexcusably low, and what the specific, neuroscience and evidence-based methods used by Dr Ullman are, and why she has achieved the remarkable success rates she has for the couples she treated from more than 3 decades.

WEBINAR: The Sex Addicted Brain
In this one-of-a-kind live event you will learn what a sex addiction (SA) really is, and why it is a brain impairment and a disease process that if left untreated will alter the immune system and therefore have a significant impact on quality (and length) of life for self and others. You will learn that the real addiction in SA is shame, why it is a disorder of intimacy and attachment and what we call arousal dysregulation, how SA develops early in life, why it co-occurs with other mental illnesses, and how it can and does manifest in the rocky, destructive, trauma-bonded relationships that SA's find themselves in. You will learn SA and Narcissistic Personality Disorder go hand-in-hand, and what the ramifications are for society as a whole when SA goes untreated. In this 2-part webinar event you will learn all about diagnosis and treatment, taking the information culled from this webinar as a solid foundation for the 2nd webinar.
Please join Dr Ullman for an exciting, entertaining, and educational multimedia 90-minute live webinar wherein you will learn all about these issues from one of the foremost Cognitive-Behavioral experts in the field of Complex Trauma (C-PTSD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Addiction. You will learn what SA really is, why it is a neurological disorder as well as a disease process, why it is significantly more common than one would ever imagine, and why, even if it does not effect you or your inner circle, it is important for you to know as much as possible about what it is, who gets it, and why. You will learn why the success rate for those with a SA is inexcusably low and what the specific neuroscience-and behavior-based method is that Dr Ullman has been using to achieve high rates of success, and what distinguishes her model from all the others.
Everyone who signs up for this webinar will be sent a free replay, just in case you were unable to attend the live event, so you will not have missed a thing.
WEBINAR: The Traumatized Brain
This Webinar Has Ended
Every wonder what happens inside the brain when a person is traumatized? Many of us already know what it feels like afterward; sometimes sudden and often unexplained fear toward people, places, or things that were never before problematic, sleep problems and insomnia - having trouble falling asleep, waking up in the middle of the night, or unable to get out of bed, experiencing an unusual feeling of things seeming unreal or feeling distant and remote from one's immediate surroundings, having scary nightmares and/or night terrors, experiencing difficulty with trust, attachment, and intimacy, feeling angry and irritable, eating too much or not enough, problems with one's memory, seeming to forget the simplest thins, feeling exhausted after little or no particular physical effort, lack of enjoyment from thins that previously ere pleasurable, wanting to isolate from the outside world, and alternating between feeling numb and feeling completely overwhelmed.
So what happens inside the brain that brings about these troublesome symptoms? Why do some people fare better then others during times of extreme stress? Is Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) simply an inevitability after a traumatic event? In this Live Webinar you will learn what happens to the brain when it has been suddenly exposed to a psychological trauma. You will learn the various factors that can predispose a person to a traumatic disorder such as PTSD, and other factors that include personal resilience, previous traumatic events, whether there has been early childhood trauma, history of mental illness, family coping style, and a host of other factors that can either impact and impede a traumatic event or help insulate and protect an individual from the ravages of psychological trauma.
Please join Dr Ullman for an exciting, entertaining, and educational 990-minute multimedia live webinar experience wherein you will learn about the impact of psychological trauma and how the brain is altered without ever having been physically touched, and perhaps more importantly, what to do in the event of a psychological trauma. You will learn about these issues and more from one of the foremost Cognitive-Behavioral and neuroscience-based experts in the field of Complex Trauma (C-PTSD), PTSD, and Addiction from the clinician that has been researching, speaking, diagnosing, and treating those that have been impacted by psychological trauma for more than 30 years.
